A new Adobe-commissioned IDC white paper identifies opportunities for increasing information worker productivity.

Read the results of a global survey of 1,200 information workers and IT professionals conducted by IDC and sponsored by Adobe to better understand information worker needs and challenges. The report shows that gaps in individual productivity, inefficiencies in collaboration and barriers to working on mobile devices are costing organisations.

Inefficiencies reduce productivity by over 19%

Challenges related to working with documents cost companies €14,492 per information worker annually — with each worker wasting 11.4 hours per week on average.

Modest IT investments can result in significant gains

New solutions that make it easier for information workers to handle documents can help organisations redeploy resources to better meet business goals. For an organisation with 1,000 people, addressing these time wasters is tantamount to hiring 195 new employees.
