CyberTOOLBELT® provides critical information to protect people, operations, intellectual and physical property. Our extensive experience investigating and unmasking technology-based threats enables us to provide our clients with tools, actionable intelligence and effective threat mitigation strategies. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies and law enforcement agencies.
Why is CyberTOOLBELT® good?
CyberTOOLBELT® is an outstanding cyber investigation platform not only because it supplies common DNS tools but it also provides a number of unique tools and monitoring tools, but because its workflow is designed to work the way an investigator does. No copy and pasting of intermediate results due to our built-in patented dossier system. It features seamless workflow. We have terabytes of historic and current data. We had a RESTful API that allows companies to incorporate our data into their products and system. For example, we have a number of major banks that use our new domain feed that details all the additions to the over 1300 daily domain zone files that we process every day (including a number of important ccTLDs) as well as the other ways we discover new domains.
Why does CyberTOOLBELT® work so well for investigators?
Its because iThreat Cyber Group (the developer of CyberTOOLBELT®) has been in the cyber investigation business for 20 years and CyberTOOLBELT® is the distillation of over 30 analysts techniques gleaned over all those years. CyberTOOLBELT® was designed to make those analysts more efficient and reduce the time to complete a cyber investigation. This has been proven over the years with many Fortune 100 clients that relied on our/their use of CyberTOOLBELT®.
We have millions of domain and IP address abuse records. Our abuse data can be one of 36 different categories from phishing, botnet command and control, to SQL injection attacks.
We have a number of Law Enforcement and government entities that use CyberTOOLBELT® for their cyber investigations. They do this for the reasons mentioned above as well as the collaboration tools available in the enterprise edition. Another thing that these entities like is that CyberTOOLBELT® is very reasonably priced compared to systems that do some of the things that CyberTOOLBELT® does.
CyberTOOLBELT® is also used by a number of law firms. They use it for client brand and intellectual property rights monitoring.
What are your views for the future?
We are always on the lookout for resellers that partner with us to bring new clients for CyberTOOLBELT®. We provide a generous commission for new clients. Future development on CyberTOOLBELT® is geared towards making cyber investigation even easier for users who might not be well versed in as cyber investigators. We are also developing new, unique, tools. We have just finished a major upgrade of infrastructure to allow for better scanning of the internet for interesting data.
